As a kid growing up in Bunbury, W.A. Australia, always loved the christmas beetle, and the colours in this necklace remind me so much of it- at least in my memory!!!
I am amazed at how much yellow changes the colour of the beads, so thought I would include the photo. Beverly Ash Gilbert has influenced my colours and given me the view that blended colours are beautiful. Seed beads, Pearls, crystals and the flowers are from 60's earrings ( what was I thinking back then?) But keep something long enough and it will find a home.
The Jacarandas are in full bloom again, and I know that they are a messy tree, but how can you not help but love the purple carpet everywhere. I am going to use this in my next necklace, after I finish the bracelet to match this necklace. Please leave a comment as I would love to know what fellow beaders think!!

Another creation which has been in my brain for awhile,Natural Coral, pearls, shards of pearl, crystals and seed beads completed with a crystal magnetic clasp.I just love the colour of the coral! Went to a book talk today A most creative, individual, inspiring lady, Monica McInernay, an Aussie now living in Dublin. She talked of characters sitting on the sidelines ready for the next story- a message which really hit home, as i have all these colours and creations waiting to come out.....so many gems, so little time!!!Please read her book, At Home with the Templetons...but listen to her talk if you have the opportunity.
